Zafer Tufekci
Zafer Tüfekçi has his Economics degree from the prestigious İstanbul University Faculty of Economics. He started a career in the European Reassurance Industry in 1989 but soon returned to Turkey to pursue his entrepreneurial interests in agriculture, building a leading business covering the complete cycle of planting, packaging and distribution of fresh fruit and vegetables across the world. Zafer always pursued his interest and development as a professional executive. As he expanded his family business with foreign capital, he successfully implemented state-of-the-art corporate processes, pioneered digitalization in agriculture and opened the local industry to global specialty produce markets by meeting the quality benchmarks of primary world brands in the sector. During his tenure as top executive for over 20 years he also honed his skills as a consultant in agriculture and varied areas of expertise such as Financial Management and Corporate Law.
Zafer started his own consulting company in 2004, offering services to various industries in the fields of Imports and Exports, Business Economics, Project Feasibility and Financial Accounting. During this period, he developed an interest in education and shared his experience with college students as an expert speaker. In 2015 he decided to focus on Executive Education and joined Capsim Turkey as a trainee facilitator, developing expertise in Experiential Learning. As of 2018 Zafer assumed financial responsibilities for the company and at the same time continued his training as associate facilitator. He is currently co-facilitating classes in both academic and corporate programs. His passion for Praxis is to contribute his unique expertise by transforming manufacturing related know-how into the service industry of Corporate Training.
